It's time to sign up for Summer Camp 2024!
We'll be heading back this summer to Luther Crest Bible Camp in Alexandria, MN. There are opportunities for kids *and adults* of all ages kindergarten and up!
We reserved spots for the week of July 28 - August 2. As always, you are welcome to go to camp another week, but if you want to come with your church friends, this is the week we will be going.
A week at camp includes: crafts, group games, bible study, time in nature, high & low ropes courses (depending on age), water time, and more. We brought 28 kids last summer, and every one of them said they were glad they went! We expect to send even more this year!
Here's the breakdown of age groups (and associated costs):
9th-12th grade (Blazers)* - FREE (Though, because it's free, we are asking you give a donation of $100 to help offset the cost for our younger kids.) (more info here)
6th-9th grade (Witnesses) - $725 if registered before Feb 14 (more info here)
3rd-6th grade (Leapers) - $725 if registered before Feb 14 (more info here)
K-5th grade (day camp)** - $210 if registered before Feb 14 (more info here)
Family/All People Camp - cost varies by family size (more info here)
*9th-12th graders also have the option to attend as Proclaimers the week of August 4-9. (more info here)
**If your child is in Kinder-2nd grade, we encourage you to consider attending family camp with a side of day camp. You will experience camp together with your child in the evenings, but they can attend the on-site day camp from 9am-5pm while you relax, enjoy camp, or just take time to yourself.
Last year we were able to raise almost $7,000 to help off-set the cost of camp through our congregation's generosity. Our intent is to lower the cost to make it more affordable for families, so no one will actually be paying $725 to attend camp. In addition, we have a scholarship fund and Luther Crest has a scholarship fund. Please do not let money be the reason you don't go to camp.
Registration
When you're ready to register, click on THIS LINK. It will ask you for the group hold ID, which is CTBMC24. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
DO send $100 to Mount Calvary (we've already paid $100 per camper to LCBC to hold our spots). You can do this via check payable to Mount Calvary (memo: camp deposit) or via our Vanco Portal HERE. (Please plan to cover the $2.75 processing fee if you use Vanco.)
DO NOT send payment to camp at this time. Last year's campers had about half their costs covered by congregation fundraising. Don't pay anything until we've had a chance to raise as much as we can.
