Women's Retreat - Winter 2025
Take some time for yourself and join us for our Women’s Retreat at Mount Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington, MN, from Saturday, March 1 at 10am to Sunday, March 2 at 10am. This is a weekend to gather, laugh, relax, and connect with other women in our community.
Ash Wednesday Worship & Events
Join us for Ash Wednesday worship on March 5 at 4:30pm or 6:30pm. Between services, enjoy a community meal and bring a food donation for The Open Door Food Pantry as we kick off Hunger Month. From 6:00–6:30pm, we’ll have a special family education time with an Ash Wednesday message for kids—everyone is welcome!

Spiritual Gifts Retreat
Join us for the Spiritual Gifts Retreat hosted by the Saint Paul Area Synod on Saturday, February 1, from 9:00am to 4:00pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Circle Pines, MN. This retreat will help you explore the question, “Who has God created me to be?” Through spiritual gift inventories, conversation, and other tools, you'll gain a better understanding of your unique gifts and how to use them to serve your faith community and the world. The retreat will be led by Pastor Justin Grimm (SPAS) and Pastor Kirsten Fryer (Bethlehem in the Midway, St. Paul). The cost is $25 per person, which includes lunch. Consider joining others from Mount Calvary to attend and discover how your gifts can impact our community.

Annual Finance Meeting
Key topics will include the 2025 budget and the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) welcoming statement. All members are encouraged to attend!
Voting on Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Welcome Statement
We’ll hold an official vote on becoming a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Congregation. During the straw poll on January 12, the congregation expressed overwhelming support for this ministry.

December 4 & 11: Devotional sheets will be available on all tables during Wednesday Night Suppers at 5:00pm. You’re invited to reflect at your table or join a designated table for intentional conversation and reflection.
December 18: While there is no supper, we’ll gather at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall for a devotional before the Blue Christmas service.
This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in community and grow in faith together. We hope to see you there!

Congregational Meeting & Vote
We invite you to a Congregational Meeting and Vote on Sunday, December 8, immediately following 9:30am worship. At this meeting, we will discuss and vote on an amended purchase agreement for the sale of a portion of our north property. Learn more about the details of this amendment here.
We encourage all members to attend and participate in this vote. If you have questions or need more information, please contact the church office or a council member before December 8.
