At Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, we believe faith is not a solitary journey—it’s something we live out together. Becoming a member is one way to grow spiritually, build lasting relationships, and engage more deeply in the life of our church.

Why Become a Member?

While membership isn’t required to worship or participate in our ministries, it can enrich your faith journey and sense of belonging. Members are part of a supportive, Christ-centered community committed to worship, learning, and serving together.

Membership Privileges and Responsibilities

As a member of Mount Calvary, you are invited to:

Participate fully in the Sacraments, including baptism and communion.
Live a faithful life grounded in the Word of God and our Lutheran tradition.
Support the mission of Mount Calvary and the ELCA with your time, gifts, and resources.
Vote at our Annual Meetings and have a voice in key church decisions.

It's important to emphasize that membership is not a requirement to worship or be involved at Mount Calvary, but only members can vote in official congregational matters. Please note that non-members or associate members do not have voting privileges.

Sign up for a new member class

We host informal “Welcome to Mount Calvary” gatherings several times a year for those interested in learning more about our church or becoming members. These events are a great way to meet others, explore our Lutheran faith and values, and discover how to get involved in our ministries and community life.

Ready to Connect?
Share your contact information with us by completing your information in the black pew books when you’re in worship, visiting the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings, or by reaching out to the church office during the week. This helps us keep you informed about upcoming events and new member opportunities.

Become a Member

Everyone is welcome to attend our "Welcome to Mount Calvary" gatherings—no membership required! But if you're ready to officially join our congregation, here’s how to get started:

To become a member:

Complete the following forms:
- Household Information Form – helps us get to know you and your family.
- Gifts & Abilities Form – lets us know where your passions and talents lie.
- (Optional) Simply Giving Form – for setting up electronic giving through your bank.
Submit your forms one of two ways:
- Download the forms below and return completed copies to the church office—either printed or scanned via email.
- Or, pick up printed copies at the church office or the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings and return them there when complete.
